ACCOMMODATION: 8 guests can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms all en-suite, dining room, kitchen, lounge and a large veranda over looking the Indian Ocean. All rooms are air conditioned with mosquito nets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. (2 double rooms + 1 twin room + 1 triple)

EXCLUSIVITY: Guests at Alfajiri Cliff Villa have exclusive use of the villa and the pool. No other guest, belonging to another group, will be booked at the same time.

CUISINE: Fresh seafood is brought daily to order from the beach and includes some of the best crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and sea fish available. The food at Alfajiri Cliff Villa is very light with a Mediterranean influence with oils, Parma ham and some cheeses are flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms and the fruit is hand-picked from trees and bushes around Diani. The Molinaro’s will adapt menus to suit their guests. A good choice of  quality South African wines and from Chile  are available.

 GOLF: While staying with us you will enjoy unlimited golf inclusive of green fees and use of golf clubs. An 18 hole golf course seats ideally located less than two minutes away from Alfajiri Cliff Villa. This 18-hole championship golf course, home to the Diani Beach Masters, is recognized as one of the most exciting golf courses in East Africa. Fully irrigated fairways run through Palm, Cashew nut and Casuarinas Pine trees. The par 72 and 6084-meter course has 85 bunkers and a large lake, which guarantees a challenging and exciting game of Golf. The golf course also plays host to abundant bird-life and several species of monkey.

THE TEAM: The Villa is owned and hosted by Fabrizio Molinaro and his wife Marika. After completing medical school in Italy, Fabrizio has spent the last 23 years in Kenya in the safari business and travelling the world for artefacts for the house. Marika was in the fashion business for many years and she is now an interior designer for some of Kenya’s most luxurious houses, while running a workshop where she is producing the furniture that are decorating the villas. The staffs speak English, French and Italian and are unobtrusive.

SEASONS: The Cliff Villa is open all year.

CLIMATE: Alfajiri Cliff Villa has an excellent climate with little humidity from September to March. There is a continuous off or onshore breeze. During the month of July and April the weather could be windy and you could experience rainy days.

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS
The East African coast is a malarial area and prophylactics are recommended. A doctor is on 24-hour call and small well-equipped private hospital is less than a kilometre away. As with all destinations in Africa clear medical advice is required from your doctor & comprehensive medical insurance is strongly advised.
