“Sometimes in the wave of change, we find our true direction”
– Fabrizio, Owner of Alfajiri Villas
Thirty-eight years ago a medical student from Italy traveled to Kenya to discover a new part of the world. His journey revealed his undeniable connection with the landscapes, wildlife, people, and culture of Kenya, but what stole his heart was Diani Beach- the place he would call home for
years to come.
Alfajiri Villas was the natural extension of Fabrizio and his wife Marica’s passion to share their experience of Kenya with the world. Today, they are the proud owners and managers of Alfajiri Villas,
a collection of three luxury villas in Diana Beach perfect for honeymoons, romantic getaways,
or family adventures.
Built from the ground up, Marica was the mastermind behind the design and curation of each bespoke villa as well as the creator of Alfajiri’s award-winning culinary offering. Together with their staff, the owners have created a truly authentic African beach experience for intrepid travelers across the world, offering the highest level of service, privacy, luxury, and exclusivity.
Alfajiri welcomed its first guests in July of 1999. Then, in 2004 the extension of Alfajiri was opened as the garden and beach villa were completed.
Led by Fabrizio and Marica, the intimate Alfajiri team of chefs, butlers, childminders and drivers have been globally recognized for their excellence in hospitality. Considered as family rather than staff, some of our team members have worked at Alfajiri Villas for over 20 years. Our personalized and discreet concierge approach has been designed to make you feel at home while simultaneously giving you the freedom to explore at
your own pace.
The wellbeing of Kenya’s biodiversity and its people are of utmost importance to the Alfajiri family. We have partnered with 4 key organizations, namely Diani Turtle Watch, Reefolution, Germano Chincherini Foundation, Colobus Trust in support of the protection of Kenya’s marine environment, the preservation of our primates, and safeguarding children’s rights in local communities.
